BMW expands X5 and iX5 customization with new M Performance parts

BMW has announced a new range of M Performance parts and functional accessories designed for the fifth-generation X5 and the all-electric iX5. The lineup aims to enhance both the aesthetic dynamism and the practical utility of these SUVs.

Key aerodynamic upgrades include carbon fiber front splitters, a black high-gloss roof spoiler, and rear diffuser flow blades. Notably, the company is utilizing aramid fiber for door mirror caps and rear diffusers; this material provides strength comparable to carbon fiber while remaining transparent to electromagnetic waves, ensuring that vehicle sensors and antennas function without interference. Wheel options range from 21 to 23 inches, including a jet black Y-spoke design.

For increased utility, BMW introduced new aero roof boxes in three sizes (350L, 450L, and 550L) that offer improved capacity and aerodynamics compared to previous models. The accessory range also includes interior comfort solutions, such as specialized tablet and smartphone holders, and all-weather floor mats to protect the cabin.
