BMW iX3 electric SUV to debut in Brazil with record 570 km range

BMW has homologated its iX3 50 xDrive electric SUV for the Brazilian market, achieving a certified range of 570 kilometres under the Inmetro Programa Brasileiro de Etiquetagem Veicular (PBEV). This makes the iX3 the longest‑range electric vehicle currently authorised in Brazil. The model introduces the brand’s new “Neue Klasse” platform and will arrive in the country in the coming weeks, priced around R$ 600 000.

The iX3 is equipped with a 108.7 kWh battery, an 800‑volt architecture and dual electric motors delivering 469 hp and 65.8 kg m of torque, enabling 0‑100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h. Fast charging up to 400 kW can add roughly 350 km of range in ten minutes, and the vehicle supports V2L, V2H and V2G power‑out capabilities.

In Japan, the iX3 was also launched, priced from ¥9.82 million, with a WLTC range of 906 km. The Japanese version carries the same 800‑V system and design cues of the Neue Klasse, underscoring BMW’s global rollout of the new electric‑SUV line.
