BMW Ladies Championship to return to Haenam's Pine Beach Golf Links

The BMW Ladies Championship 2026, a regular LPGA Tour event, will be held at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, South Jeolla Province, from the 22nd to the 25th. Hosted by BMW Korea, the tournament features 84 top-tier international players, including 15 from the KLPGA.

The competition follows a 72-hole stroke play format with a total prize pool of $2.35 million and a winner's share of $350,000. This marks the second consecutive year the event has been hosted in the Honam region. Last year's tournament saw approximately 60,000 spectators and was won by Korean golfer Amy Yang (Kim Se-young).

Organizers expect the event to boost the local economy, as the previous tournament drove increased usage of local accommodations, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Pine Beach Golf Links, which features courses named Pine, Beach, and Oceano, was recently recognized by GOLF Magazine as one of the ‘World’s 100 Greatest Golf Resorts’.
