XPeng launches L03 SUV‑coupé in 64 markets, targeting Europe with AI‑driven features

Chinese EV maker XPeng introduced its new L03 SUV‑coupé at an international event in Munich. The launch was simultaneous in 64 markets, marking the brand’s broadest rollout to date. The vehicle is offered with a fully electric powertrain and a Power X REEV version that uses Kunpeng Range Extender technology to alleviate range anxiety.

Key technical highlights include an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.228, a 15.6‑inch central touchscreen, a windshield‑projected W‑HUD, and a towing capacity of up to 1.5 tonnes. The Ultra trim is equipped with Turing‑AI chips capable of 2,250 TOPS of compute. XPeng also announced integration of the Google Maps Auto SDK for native navigation in markets outside China. Design work was led by Spanish designer Juan Ma López, formerly of Ferrari.

The L03 will feature an AI‑driven NGP VLA 2.0 autonomous‑driving system slated for introduction in Europe from 2027, positioning the model as a flagship of XPeng’s European expansion strategy.
