BMW i3 First Edition electric sedan unveiled
BMW has launched the i3 First Edition, a fully electric reinterpretation of the Series 3 sedan. Orders opened on 18 June, with the regular market launch slated for autumn 2026.
The car is powered by a 108.7 kWh battery on an 800 V architecture, delivering a WLTP range of 758–906 km. Fast‑charging at up to 400 kW can add roughly 423 km of range in ten minutes, while a 22 kW AC charger supports regular top‑up. Power output is 345 kW (469 hp) with 645 Nm of torque, accelerating 0–100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
Pricing in Poland starts at 331 900 zł for the First Edition and 290 000 zł for the base i3 50 xDrive model, positioning it well above the conventional Series 3 (≈195 k000 zł) but slightly cheaper than the comparable iX3 SUV.
