BMW M showcases M2, M3 Competition and M4 Competition in São Paulo test‑drive event

BMW’s M division organized a one‑day driving programme that let a journalist test three of its flagship models – the M2, M3 Competition and M4 Competition – on a route from São Paulo to Campos do Jordão. The three cars together are priced at roughly R$ 2.5 million and each delivers about 510 horsepower. The itinerary included city traffic, the Ayrton Senna highway, and the mountainous Floriano Rodrigues Pinheiro road, allowing the driver to assess power delivery, suspension setup and brake performance in varied conditions.

The test highlighted how the M‑tuned suspension and brakes translate circuit‑style dynamics to public roads, while also demonstrating the limitations imposed by normal traffic and speed limits. The experience underscored BMW’s emphasis on driver involvement and the sensory connection between car and road.
