BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2026 results announced

BMW Motorrad has announced the final results of the International GS Trophy 2026, held in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. The 10th anniversary edition of the event featured 30 riders from 13 countries competing over six days across approximately 1,500 km of challenging terrain.

In the men's category, Team Germany secured first place with 203 points. The women's category was won by Team Europe, a mixed team from the UK and the Netherlands, which finished with 200 points, narrowly defeating Team International by just two points. The Japanese men's team finished in fifth place.

The competition utilized R 12 G/S motorcycles and focused on a ‘Back to Basics’ theme, incorporating technical routes such as narrow forest paths, riverbeds, and steep mountain climbs. The event tested riders' endurance and navigation skills through extreme conditions, including fog, cold temperatures, and varied terrain.
