BMW Motorrad to unveil F 450 RR sportbike in October

BMW Motorrad has announced the upcoming international launch of the F 450 RR, a sporty addition to its new 450cc platform. Following the recent introduction of the F 450 R naked bike and the F 450 GS adventure model, the F 450 RR is scheduled for official unveiling on October 15, 2026, and is expected to be marketed globally as a 2027 model.

The F 450 RR is built on the same platform as the F 450R and F 450GS, utilizing a 420cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is designed to produce approximately 48 hp (35 kW) and 43 Nm of torque, ensuring compliance with the European A2 license restrictions. The motorcycle is expected to feature components such as a single front brake disc and an inverted fork.

Development and manufacturing of the 450 series are being handled by TVS Motor at its facility in Hosur, India. The platform is also expected to be shared with TVS's own models, such as the Apache RR 450.
