BMW Motorrad unveils custom R 1300 GS Adventure for Oktoberfest

BMW Motorrad has unveiled a unique, one-off motorcycle titled the “Wiesn-GS” to celebrate the 2026 Oktoberfest in Munich. Developed in collaboration with German customization specialist ARider, the project is an aesthetic exercise rather than a commercial limited edition.

The motorcycle is based on a R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black. Instead of traditional paint, the design utilizes vinyl transfers that incorporate the colors, shapes, and geometric patterns from the official Oktoberfest 2026 poster created by artist Florian Huber. The brand confirmed that this specific unit will not be available for purchase or mass production, serving instead as an exhibition prototype for festival events.

To promote the event, BMW Motorrad Germany has launched a contest allowing participants to win the use of a GS series motorcycle for a weekend between October 9 and 12. The registration period for this promotion ends on October 4.
