BMW plans 3 Series Touring for North America and launches cheaper iX3 in Spain

BMW is evaluating the introduction of its next‑generation 3 Series Touring (G51) to the North American market after strong customer interest in the M5 Touring. The company has not announced a launch date, and vice‑president Michael Keller said the brand is monitoring demand for additional touring models.

In Spain, BMW unveiled a new, lower‑priced iX3 "40" version. The model offers up to 637 km of WLTP‑rated range, 300 kW fast‑charging capability that fills 10‑80 % in about 21 minutes, and a base price of €63,650 – roughly €8,200 less than the prior "50 xDrive" version. The iX3 "40" is scheduled for a summer release and includes new styling and personalization options.
