Reports suggest that BMW is continuing the development of its M2 performance coupe family. While the manufacturer has not officially confirmed these plans, information from internal database leaks shared on enthusiast forums indicates that work is ongoing following the introduction of the M2 xDrive.

Several potential new variants are being speculated upon, including a possible M2 CS featuring a manual transmission, similar to the M3 CS released in North America. Other possibilities include an M2 CS xDrive, which would combine high performance with all-wheel drive, or a potential M2 CSL model.
