BMW unveils 100 Jahre Nürburgring special edition series
BMW M and BMW Motorrad have unveiled the ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ special edition series to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring circuit. The collection includes six four-wheel models—the M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring—alongside three limited-edition motorcycles: the M 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and M 1000 XR. Each motorcycle is limited to 100 units globally.
The M3 Touring special edition features a 3.0-liter straight-six twin-turbo engine producing 530 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. It incorporates the new ‘BMW M Ignite’ technology, a patented pre-combustion chamber ignition system designed to improve efficiency under high loads and meet Euro 7 emission standards. The vehicles are distinguished by a unique ‘Nürburgring Green’ paint scheme, specialized interior stitching, and ‘100 Years’ branding.
Market data for the M3 CS Touring indicates strong demand for high-performance wagons, with Germany accounting for approximately 30 percent of total production. Other significant markets for the Touring model include the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, and Japan.
