BMW announces Nürburgring centenary special edition models

BMW M and BMW Motorrad have announced the ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ special edition collection to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring circuit in 2027. The collection features nine high-performance models: six cars and three motorcycles.

The automotive lineup includes the BMW M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring. These vehicles feature an exclusive ‘Nürburgring Green’ paint, which can alternatively be ordered in Black Sapphire Metallic. Design elements include anniversary graphics, the Nordschleife silhouette, and special roof stripes. Interior details consist of black upholstery with green and white contrast stitching.

The motorcycle segment includes the BMW M 1000 RR, M 1000 R, and M 1000 XR. Each of these three motorcycle models is strictly limited to 100 units worldwide. They feature the signature Nürburgring Green color, carbon wheels with green accents, and Alcantara-style seats embroidered with the number ‘100’.

Orders for most car models are opening in September, with the M2 scheduled for January 2027. Motorcycle orders are expected to open in October. While production numbers for the cars have not been specified, the motorcycles are highly limited.
