BNB Chain launches AI‑focused Layer‑1 blockchain as token price stalls

BNB Chain announced a new Layer‑1 blockchain built for artificial‑intelligence agents and high‑frequency trading. The network targets throughput above 100,000 transactions per second, introduces a mempool‑free transaction path called TxStream, and reserves block space for critical activity through a PriorityLane mechanism. These upgrades aim to give faster, fairer on‑chain trading for automated systems and to attract developers of AI‑driven decentralized finance applications.

Despite the technical rollout, the BNB token has shown little price movement, trading around $570‑$575. Technical indicators such as the RSI and MACD point to continued bearish momentum, while open interest and funding rates suggest traders remain cautious. Whale activity indicates continued professional interest, but overall market sentiment is marked by extreme fear on the Fear‑and‑Greed Index.

Analysts project a wide price range for BNB, with some forecasts seeing short‑term moves toward $600 and longer‑term targets near $800. Separately, BNB Chain’s tokenized‑asset platform has surpassed $5.2 billion in cumulative trading volume and now hosts more than 700 tokenized stocks, supporting a user base of roughly 1.5 million active participants. Regulatory uncertainty persists, highlighted by Binance’s withdrawal of a MiCA license application in Greece and plans to seek approval elsewhere.
