BNDES receives transparency award for industrial financing dashboard

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) has received the 2026 Public Transparency and Oversight Award in the Federal Government category, granted by the Chamber of Deputies. The recognition is specifically for the ‘Plano Mais Produção’ dashboard, a tool that provides detailed information regarding financing approved under the Nova Indústria Brasil (NIB) policy.

The dashboard tracks over R$ 370 billion in approved operations, allowing users to filter data by economic sector, region, company size, and type of support. The information is updated automatically on a monthly basis. The NIB is a strategic policy launched in 2024 to guide Brazil's productive and technological development through 2033, focusing on areas such as health, agroindustry, infrastructure, digital transformation, and ecological transition.

BNDES President Aloizio Mercadante stated that the award signals the institution's commitment to improving management, social control mechanisms, and accountability.
