Bénédicte Motte appointed Deputy Director General of ARS Occitanie

Bénédicte Motte has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Occitanie. She is scheduled to begin her new role on September 7, 2026, working alongside Director General François Mengin-Lecreulx.

Motte succeeds Joffrey Henric, who is transitioning to a role as Social Affairs Counselor at the French Embassy in Rome. Motte brings extensive experience in hospital management and health administration, having previously held leadership positions at the Sainte-Anne Hospital Center in Paris, the CHU de Dijon-Bourgogne, and the CHU de Toulouse.

In her new capacity, Motte will focus on driving regional health policy and managing transformations within the healthcare system, with an emphasis on territorial proximity. Key challenges facing the agency include addressing regional poverty and unemployment, as well as managing public health initiatives such as the national HPV vaccination campaign for students.
