BNEW 2026 and regional awards recognize innovative Spanish startups

The BNEW 2026 awards have recognized eight innovative startups across various strategic sectors, including technology, health, energy, artificial intelligence, and space exploration. Out of more than 100 candidates, the winners were selected for their potential to transform the economy and address social and business challenges.

In the Navarra region, five startups from the Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Navarra (CEIN) ecosystem—Amets Biotechnology, Mimo Biosciences, Nanogrow Biotech, Naubat Technologies, and Opportunity Health—were named the most innovative by the Top 101 Spain Up Nation awards. The health sector was particularly prominent in these regional recognitions, with four of the five selected companies specializing in biotechnology, gene therapy, and medical research.
