BNK경남은행 정한욱 Honored with Changwon Mayor’s Commendation for Disability Support

BNK경남은행 social‑contribution officer Jung Han‑wook received the Changwon special mayor’s commendation for his long‑standing volunteer work supporting people with disabilities. He began assisting local disability groups as a university student in 2016 and continued the effort after joining the bank, taking part in the internal volunteer team and the Hanuri Humanity Association. In his current role he oversees the bank’s social‑contribution projects, including a recent partnership that invites children from depopulating regions to baseball games. The award, presented on the 29th, recognizes a decade of community service and highlights the bank’s broader corporate‑social‑responsibility initiatives.

The bank said it will expand such programs to encourage more staff participation in local‑community activities.
