BNL BNP Paribas and Saturnia Film Festival boost cinema as cultural and economic catalyst

BNL BNP Paribas continues its long‑standing support for the film industry, expanding partnerships and initiatives throughout the year. At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival the bank teamed with Elle US Women in Hollywood to highlight female leadership, presented the “7 women for the 7th art” award, sponsored the Nastri d’Argento special prize and launched the “24 Frame al Secondo” competition for creators under 25.

In Italy, Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination hosted the closing day of the ninth Saturnia Film Festival. The event featured a panel on “Cinema, Territory and New Value Chains” with Confartigianato Cinema and Audiovisivo, an open‑air screening of short‑film finalists, and a ceremony awarding all festival categories, underscoring the link between cinema, local heritage and regional economic development in the Maremma region.
