BNNK Temanggung and Magelang Prison Sign Cooperation Agreement to Combat Drug Abuse

On 4 August 2026, the Badan Narkotika Nasional Kabupaten (BNNK) Temanggung, led by AKBP Sharlin Tjahaja Frimer Arie, and Balai Pemasyarakatan Kelas II Magelang, headed by Agustiyar Ekantoro, signed a formal cooperation agreement in Magelang, Central Java. The pact establishes joint implementation of the P4GN (Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Eradication of Narcotics) program, covering drug‑use prevention, information sharing, assistance for children in conflict with the law, and capacity‑building for staff of both agencies.

The agreement aims to strengthen coordination between law‑enforcement and correctional institutions, improve rehabilitation and post‑rehabilitation services for drug users, and reduce recidivism in the Temanggung and Magelang jurisdictions.
