Bünyan announces 400 million TL in local investments

Bünyan Mayor Selahattin Metin announced that approximately 400 million TL in investments have been made in the district during 2026. Key projects include the construction of a new government building, the foundation of which was laid following successful negotiations with the Ministry of Interior to secure full funding.

The municipality plans to transform the site of the former government building into a shopping mall and a municipal service area. Additionally, efforts to boost local employment are underway, specifically through the allocation of space to a furniture company that currently employs 50 women, with a target to reach 100 employees.

Tourism and cultural preservation projects are also progressing. This includes the restoration of a historic 19th-century mansion to be converted into the Bünyan Museum, as well as ongoing developments in local restaurant facilities and glass terrace areas.
