Bo Nix faces criticism despite Broncos' win over Seahawks

Following the Denver Broncos' 17-14 overtime victory against the Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Bo Nix has faced intense scrutiny regarding his performance and competitiveness. During the Prime Video postgame broadcast, Ryan Fitzpatrick criticized Nix, stating his play was “almost disrespectful to the quarterback position” and suggesting a lack of competitive drive.

Former Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib responded to Fitzpatrick’s remarks by defending Nix and criticizing Fitzpatrick’s own professional record. Meanwhile, within the Broncos organization, teammates and insiders suggest there is no movement toward benching the quarterback. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton expressed full support for Nix, noting that the locker room remains united despite offensive struggles.

Despite the criticism, the Broncos hold a 4-2 record. NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported that there are “no questions in the building about Nix’s competitiveness, drive and ability to get things rolling again,” highlighting that the team remains confident in his leadership as they move past a difficult early-season schedule.
