Bo Odlind, pharmacology expert and former Astra leader, dies at 80

Bo (Bosse) Odlind, a prominent figure in pharmacology and nephrology, passed away in Stockholm on July 17 at the age of 80.

After studying medicine in Uppsala, Odlind earned a doctorate in pharmacology and specialized in nephrology. His career included holding several leadership positions within various therapeutic areas at Astra in Södertälje. He was also recognized as a leading expert within the Swedish and European pharmaceutical sectors.
