Báo Văn hóa announces Pickleball Van Hoa Viet 2026 tournament

Báo Văn hóa has officially announced the Pickleball Van Hoa Viet 2026 tournament, scheduled to take place in Hanoi on September 26 and 27. The event is organized to celebrate Vietnamese Culture Day on November 24 and to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Báo Văn hóa.

The tournament aims to host approximately 252 athletes across three categories: Leaders, Artists/Media, and Grassroots. To maintain amateur standards, the organizers have specified that professional athletes and members of national or provincial pickleball teams are not eligible to compete. The grassroots category features a total prize pool of 240 million VND.

Beyond the competition, the event is designed as a social space to connect managers, artists, journalists, and businesspeople. Parallel cultural activities will include interactive games, cultural experience zones, and exhibition booths. The tournament also highlights the rapid growth of pickleball in Vietnam following the recent establishment of the Vietnam Pickleball Federation (VPF).
