Boa Concept partners with Kuka to integrate mobile robotics

Boa Concept Group, a French manufacturer of modular intralogistics solutions, has signed a partnership with the German robotics specialist Kuka to integrate autonomous mobile robots (AMR) into its offerings.

The collaboration aims to enhance warehouse automation by combining Boa Concept’s modular conveyor systems and Boa Central Suite software with Kuka’s mobile robotics. This integration is designed to provide more flexible and scalable solutions for retail, e-commerce, and logistics providers, allowing for improved warehouse transfers, workstation feeding, and the management of remote zones.

According to Patrice Henrion, Managing Director of Boa Concept Group, the goal is to integrate a new automation component into a global flow logic rather than simply adding a standalone robot to their catalog. The partnership also allows Kuka to leverage Boa Concept’s operational expertise to better identify specific use cases within the intralogistics market.
