The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, with the fire department being called to the Residencial Monte Belo area around 12:20 p.m. Firefighters used specialized wildlife handling equipment to capture the snake safely, ensuring no injuries to the animal or the people involved.
Following the rescue, the snake was transported and released into a forested area compatible with its natural habitat. While boa constrictors are non-venomous, they can grow up to 4 meters in length and are primarily nocturnal animals.
