Boa Vista celebrates 13 years of Família Que Acolhe program

The Família Que Acolhe (FQA) program in Boa Vista has reached its 13th anniversary, having monitored nearly 42,000 pregnancies across urban, rural, and indigenous communities. The milestone was celebrated during the 10th edition of Baby Week, which featured health activities, family bonding exercises, and workshops for pregnant women and children.

Mayor Marcelo Zeitoune emphasized the program's role in investing in early childhood to build a better future for the municipality. The celebration also included the selection of the traditional ‘Bebê Prefeito’ (Baby Mayor), an initiative aimed at reinforcing municipal commitment to child development.
