Boa Vista infrastructure: 553 roads repaired in first half of 2026

The Boa Vista City Hall has reported that its pothole repair operation recovered 553 roads across 54 neighborhoods during the first half of 2026. The maintenance program targets streets and avenues showing signs of wear due to time and vehicle traffic. Recent interventions have taken place in neighborhoods such as Nova Cidade, Alvorada, Cambará, Cidade Satélite, Piscicultura, and Pintolândia.

In the Cidade Satélite neighborhood, residents of Rua José Brock have expressed concerns regarding the lack of asphalt, noting that the dirt road causes dust issues during dry periods and mud accumulation during rain. In response, the City Hall stated it is investing in infrastructure for the area, having already implemented 260 meters of drainage network in March to address flooding. The Municipal Secretariat of Urban Mobility is expected to perform asphalt recomposition on the street as soon as possible.
