Boa Vista police apprehend teenager for suspected sexual abuse of sister

In Boa Vista, Roraima, the Civil Police apprehended a 16-year-old male investigated for the sexual abuse of his 13-year-old sister. The investigation began after the victim reported the abuse at her school.

During the execution of the search and seizure warrant, authorities also identified evidence suggesting the sale of narcotics at the residence. Additionally, police found other children in a state of vulnerability at the home, lacking proper adult supervision. The mother had reportedly moved to a different address with a partner who is currently facing legal proceedings related to previous violence involving the same teenager. The Child Guardianship Council has been notified.
