Boadilla del Monte reaches record municipal sports participation

Boadilla del Monte has reached record levels of municipal sports participation, with more than 19,000 registered subscribers. This figure represents approximately 28% of the local population.

Key growth areas include summer sports camps, which saw a historic high of 1,700 enrolled minors, and municipal fitness rooms, which currently serve 3,000 users. To meet rising demand, the City Council is working on creating a third fitness room. Additionally, municipal sports schools and guided classes maintained an average occupancy of 81% during the first quarter of the year.

The local government continues to support regional athletics by providing free facility access to 22 sports associations and clubs, benefiting over 4,000 athletes. Infrastructure projects are also underway, including the expansion of the Condesa de Chinchón Sports Complex and a new municipal athletics facility.
