Boñar hosts Leonese wrestling Summer League finale

The Boñar wrestling event concluded a marathon of five consecutive 'corros' as part of the Summer League of Leonese wrestling. The competition saw several athletes secure repeat victories and solidify their positions in the general standings.

In the lighter weight categories, Florian Yugueros secured his second consecutive victory. However, in the final, Sergio López received a significant ovation from the crowd. In the middleweight division, José Luis García emerged as the champion after a comeback against Samuel Sánchez, following a semifinal victory over Ibai Gracia.

Tomás González continued his dominant run by defeating Adrián Rodríguez and subsequently winning the final against Matthew. In the heavyweight category, Pedro Alvarado maintained his leadership by defeating Abel Cabero and David Andrés to claim victory.
