Board of Peace caps Gaza administration's debt at $400 million

The Board of Peace announced that the forthcoming National Committee for Gaza Administration (NCAG) will examine and settle legal financial obligations to suppliers, contractors and other parties, with a ceiling of $400 million. The measures are part of President Donald Trump's Comprehensive Peace Plan for Gaza and will be rolled out gradually over a three‑year period according to NCAG priorities. Any unresolved claims will later be addressed through a broader Palestinian national process.

The Board said that once NCAG assumes responsibility for Gaza, it will ensure continuity of civil institutions and public services, maintain civil‑servant employment under Palestinian law, conduct a comprehensive audit with international assistance, and safeguard public assets. Earlier, President Trump reported an agreement for the full disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups, a phased Israeli troop withdrawal, and thanked Egypt, Qatar and Turkey for their mediation, describing the deal as a historic breakthrough and noting the creation of an International Stabilisation Force to cooperate with a new Palestinian police force.
