The Boardroom Governance Summit (BGS) Africa 2026 has been rescheduled from October 7 to Thursday, November 12, 2026. The event will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, under the theme ‘Board Committees: From Oversight to Impact.’

Organizers stated the decision to move the date followed consultations with principal partners, speakers, and guests of honor. The delay is intended to accommodate growing international interest, allowing chairpersons, directors, and governance leaders from across the African continent sufficient time to arrange travel and visas.

BGS Africa Founder and Convenor, Ing. Prof. Douglas K. Boateng, noted that the summit has evolved from a local Ghanaian event into a continental gathering. All existing registrations and tickets remain valid, and delegate benefits, including summit access and CPD recognition, will remain unchanged. Delegates unable to attend the new date are entitled to a refund.
