boAt launches PartyPal speaker series in India

Indian audio brand boAt has expanded its home audio portfolio with the launch of the PartyPal series, a lineup of eight party speakers. The new range includes models such as the PartyPal 650, 600 Plus, 500, 390 Plus, 230, Boom, Ultra, and Rumbl, with prices ranging from Rs 9,499 to Rs 24,999.

The flagship PartyPal 650 offers 300W audio output, two UHF wireless microphones, and a dedicated Bass Drop Pad for live sound effects. The series features Karaoke ProTuner, an auto-tuning technology designed to adjust singing vocals in real time. Other features across the lineup include RGB LED lighting, multi-device connectivity, and integration with the boAt Hearables application for custom equalizer and light settings.

Separately, reports suggest boAt is developing an AI-led experience for its audio products. This anticipated technology is intended to move beyond standard voice assistants by enabling sustained, natural conversations and potentially improving the understanding of regional accents and dialects. It remains unclear if this will be implemented via firmware updates for existing devices or through a new product line.
