BOATRACE releases new commercial series episode and announces sports festival

The BOATRACE Promotion Association has released the ninth episode of its 2026 commercial series, ‘From Zero to Pro: Instructor Machida’s Story.’ The episode, titled ‘Instructor Uika’s Decision,’ features First Summer Uika as a mentor who decides to adopt a stricter instructional approach to better prepare trainees for professional racing.

Additionally, Boat Race Miyajima will host ‘SpoPara! in BOATRACE Miyajima,’ a sports festival scheduled for September 12 and 13, 2026. The event aims to promote inclusive sports and para-sports through various activities, including drone soccer, wheelchair basketball, and para-powerlifting. The festival will also feature specialized workshops in breaking, basketball, and jump rope, involving athletes from the Nippon Foundation HEROs.
