Boğaziçi Zoning Directorate orders demolition of 4,141 illegal structures

The Boğaziçi Zoning Directorate has issued demolition orders for 4,141 structures identified as illegal constructions within the Bosphorus Foresight Zone. The decision affects various properties, including unauthorized additions such as balconies, roofs, garages, and garden modifications.

In the Sarıyer district, 1,982 structures are slated for demolition. The list of affected owners includes several prominent figures, such as Ferdi Tayfur, Hülya Avşar, Süreyya Yalçın, and Mehmet Ali Erbil. Business leaders İshak Alaton and Hacı Ömer Sabancı are also named in the records.

In Beşiktaş, 544 structures face demolition, with the list including businessman Mustafa Koç and his shareholders, as well as Saffet Ulusoy and his shareholders. An auction for the demolition process has been scheduled for September 22.
