Bob Baffert celebrates eighth Breeders’ Cup Juvenile win

Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert earned an A-minus grade for his stable following the Breeders’ Cup juvenile races. Hughes, a two-year-old son of Into Mischief, secured Baffert’s eighth victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, extending his undefeated record to five wins. Baffert noted that Hughes displayed exceptional speed, comparing the horse's traits to those of American Pharoah and Justify.

In the same race, Baffert’s Salahudin finished third after a difficult trip. Additionally, Miss Monica finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, losing by 1 1/2 lengths to Emphatic after a poor start. Baffert expressed pride in his team's preparation despite not achieving a 1-2 finish in both races. The Baffert team is scheduled to move to Churchill Downs on Monday before heading to California for the winter.
