Bob Dylan: Reflections on the landmark year of 1975
The year 1975 marks a significant period in Bob Dylan’s career, highlighted by the release of his acclaimed album, ‘Blood on the Tracks’. The era was characterized by intense songwriting and high visibility, including a visit to imprisoned boxer Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter and appearances with artists such as Neil Young and members of The Band.
During this time, Dylan also collaborated with Jacques Levy to write the songs for the ‘Desire’ album and assembled the Rolling Thunder Revue. This traveling musical and cinematic project toured through New England, Canada, and New York, coinciding with the filming of ‘Renaldo & Clara’.
