Bob Dylan to release 39-disc Rolling Thunder Revue live collection

Bob Dylan is releasing a massive 39-disc archival box set titled ‘The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1976 Live Recordings’. The collection documents the second leg of his 1976 tour, featuring 381 tracks sourced from original tapes, with 371 recordings making their first official appearance.

The tour's second leg spanned various U.S. locations from April to May 1976, including Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado. The recordings feature notable guest appearances by Joan Baez and a band including Mick Ronson, Steven Soles, David Mansfield, and T Bone Burnett.

The release includes a booklet with rare photographs and liner notes by Mikal Gilmore. One highlighted performance from May 16, 1976, at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, will be released as a triple vinyl set.
