Bob Odenkirk action film ‘NORMAL’ set for Japan release

The action film ‘NORMAL’ is set for release in Japan on December 11, 2025. Starring Bob Odenkirk, the film is a collaboration with screenwriter Derek Kolstad, known for the ‘John Wick’ series, and directed by Ben Wheatley.

Set in the quiet town of Normal, Minnesota, the story follows Ulysses, a temporary sheriff played by Odenkirk, who possesses hidden combat skills. Following a bank robbery, Ulysses uncovers a major secret about the town, leading all 1,890 residents to turn against him in a violent struggle for survival.

The production features a cast including Henry Winkler, Lena Headey, and Brendan Fletcher. Odenkirk also served as a co-writer and producer for the project.
