Bobby G’s Pizzeria owners face lawsuit over unpaid wages and contract breach
Restaurant owners Gurpreet Kaur and Gurmukh “Jay” Bansel Singh of Bobby G’s Pizzeria have been sued in Alameda County Superior Court for alleged wage violations, failure to reimburse business expenses and employee misclassification. Former social media coordinator Jennifer Baquing filed the complaint against the owners and their corporate parent Game & Co, Inc, seeking $180,000 in damages and citing systematic underpayment and early termination of her contract in December 2025.
Former server Calvin Miller also reported a pattern of delayed paychecks and poor communication about late wages during his May 2025 employment. Multiple former employees, contractors and vendors described similar experiences. The restaurant closed indefinitely in April 2026. Attempts by journalists to reach Kaur and Singh for comment were unsuccessful, with Singh briefly responding on July 23 but providing no further information.
