Bobovac hosts 25th Prayer Day for the Homeland

The 25th Prayer Day for the Homeland was held at the historic site of Bobovac in central Bosnia, marking the anniversary of the death of Queen Katarina Kosača-Kotromanić. The event brought together numerous believers, religious leaders, and high-ranking officials to pray for peace, stability, and the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The religious service was led by Military Ordinary Monsignor Miro Relota and attended by prominent political figures, including Dragan Čović, President of the Croatian National Assembly of BiH, and Darijana Filipović, the newly elected Croatian member of the BiH Presidency. Also in attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and various police structures.

During the sermon, Franciscan friar Anto Radoš emphasized the importance of coexistence, stating that history should not be used as a weapon against neighbors and that respecting others does not require renouncing one's own faith or identity. The gathering served as a call for the constitutional equality of the Croatian people and the continued pursuit of a stable, European Bosnia and Herzegovina.
