Bobovac hosts prayer pilgrimage for Queen Katarina anniversary

The Military Ordinariate, the Ministry of Defense, and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the 23rd “Prayer for the Homeland” pilgrimage at Bobovac. The event marks the 548th anniversary of the death of Queen Katarina Kosača Kotromanić, who passed away on October 25, 1478.

The mass was led by Military Ordinary Monsignor Miro Relota, with the sermon delivered by Father Anti Radoš. During the service, Radoš called for peace, love, and faith, urging believers to build bridges and respect those with different faiths.

High-ranking officials attended the ceremony, including Dragan Čović, Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and newly elected Presidency member Darijana Filipović. Other attendees included the Croatian Ambassador to BiH, Ivan Sabolić, and various military leaders from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event also included clergy from the Military Ordinariates of Croatia and the Military Vicariates of Slovenia.
