BOBST hosts packaging and label production roadshow in Algeria

BOBST and five technology partners, including Sun Chemical, Aisa, Esko, Brückner Maschinenbau, and Rossini, hosted the ‘BOBST & Leading Partners Roadshow 2026 — Algeria’ in Sétif on September 29. The event focused on the theme of shaping the future of sustainable flexible packaging and label production.

The roadshow addressed various stages of the packaging value chain, including film production, printing, converting, and workflow automation. Discussions centered on the industry's need for higher productivity, cost optimization, and flexibility to meet evolving market demands and sustainability expectations.

Manuel Cortizo, BOBST’s Regional Sales & Marketing Director for Africa, Middle East, and Turkey, noted that Algerian converters are increasingly seeking technologies that integrate productivity with sustainability. The event also highlighted the role of digitalization and connected production systems, such as BOBST Connect, in reducing waste and improving operational efficiency.
