BOC-NAIA commended for high revenue collection and border protection

Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno commended the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Collection District III for its performance during its 66th founding anniversary. Under the leadership of District Collector Atty. Maria Yasmin M. Obillos-Mapa, the port collected ₱32.53 billion from January to August 2026, exceeding its target by 7.88 percent and marking a 14.11 percent growth in collection, the highest since 2023.

In addition to revenue achievements, the port recorded 1,266 apprehensions valued at approximately ₱1.64 billion and prevented the entry of over ₱1.57 billion worth of illegal drugs. The port has also focused on modernization through ISO re-certification, the implementation of an Electronic Airway Bill System, and enhanced passenger services.
