Boca del Río launches new public and student health initiatives
Boca del Río is implementing new health initiatives targeting both the general public and students. The DIF Municipal de Boca del Río has announced a free dental brigade scheduled from October 5 to 9. This program, coordinated with partners including Fundación UNAM, FEMSA, and Farmacias ISA, aims to serve up to 600 people. Services include dental cleanings, fluoride application for children, cavity treatments, and extractions. To participate, residents must provide proof of residency in Boca del Río and valid identification.
Separately, the Instituto Veracruzano de Boca del Río has launched an Integral Health Program for approximately 270 incoming students. This initiative provides diagnostic services in dentistry, nutrition, and psychology. The program utilizes fifth-semester students to conduct initial assessments, with results shared with parents to ensure the ongoing well-being of the student body.
