Boca Juniors target goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli and other signings
Boca Juniors have opened talks about Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli, whose contract runs until June 2027 with a €9 million release clause. The club is weighing a move despite Rulli’s expressed desire to return to Estudiantes after his current deal, and is also scouting alternatives Alvaro Montero (Vélez) and Sergio Rochet (Internacional) to cover the long‑term injury to Agustín Marchesín.
The Argentine side are also monitoring winger Exequiel Zeballos. Napoli showed early interest, while Fiorentina remains on the radar; his €20 million clause could be reduced, but a possible Napoli signing of Paulo Dybala may block that path. Boca’s primary target for the same position is Sebastián Villa, whose negotiation outcome will influence other moves.
Another potential addition is forward Esequiel Barco of Spartak Moscow. Boca would prioritize his acquisition only if the Villa deal falls through. Barco’s price is estimated at $4‑5 million for 50 % of his rights, a figure the club says it could meet after resolving the Villa situation.
