Boca Juniors advances to FIBA Intercontinental Cup semifinals

Boca Juniors has advanced to the semifinals of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup following a strong performance in Group B. The Argentine club began its tournament in Beijing with an 88-78 victory over the Beijing Royal Fighters. Francisco Caffaro and Leonardo Lema led the team in that opening match with 17 points each.

In their second Group B matchup, Boca Juniors faced the NBA G League United. Despite holding an early 15-point advantage, the Argentine side was challenged by a comeback from the US representative. The NBA G League United ultimately secured a 79-74 win, leaving Boca with a 1-1 record in the group. Michael Warren led Boca in scoring during this contest with 15 points.

Boca Juniors is scheduled to face Rytas Vilnius in the semifinals on Saturday.
