Boca Juniors eye Álvaro Montero while Deportes Recoleta sign veteran striker Felipe Flores

Boca Juniors are tracking Colombian goalkeeper Álvaro Montero, 30, as a priority signing after the injury to Agustín Marchesín. The player, who is under contract with Millonarios and part of Colombia’s 2026 World Cup squad, cannot be moved until a contractual option is exercised. Boca’s management said they are “working to have everything resolved before 30/6.”

Chilean Primera B club Deportes Recoleta announced the addition of 39‑year‑old forward Felipe Flores, who has scored 131 professional goals. The club welcomed him as “family,” emphasising his experience will help the team’s promotion push. Flores will join Recoleta for upcoming fixtures against Colo Colo, O’Higgins and Santiago Wanderers.
