Former Boca coach Antonio Mohamed said he still hopes to return to the club, stating “my moment will come” while he remains under contract with Toluca and prepares for the preseason.

Boca Juniors, which is set to appoint Rodolfo Arruabarrena as head coach, is also pursuing Colombian striker Sebastián Villa. Journalist Claudio Civiello reported that Mauricio “Chicho” Serna confirmed Villa’s desire to re‑join Boca, prompting the club to begin talks with Independiente Rivadavia. Villa’s former club values the player at $8‑9 million and is not inclined to lower the price, while Boca plans to negotiate a deal that could include cash and players.

The negotiations are still in early stages, with no formal agreement reached yet.
